Knights of Columbus
Purpose: To help Catholic men remain steadfast in their faith through mutual encouragement; to promote closer ties of fraternity among them, and to provide health and life insurance to member families; to help strengthen the Catholic faith, serve the Church and community.
Duties: Fr. Damien DuVeuster Council 6906 at St. Elizabeth Parish is a Catholic Fraternal Organization for men who are committed and dedicated to proclamation of the Gospels. It was founded by Blessed Father Michael McGiveny at St. Mary's Cathedral in New Haven, Connecticut. Members uphold the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
Requirements: Men must be at least 18 years old to join. The K of C is Christ-centered and is deeply rooted in family values and virtues.
