online.
Many, many thanks to those who have sent in your gift. On behalf of Bishop Larry, we thank you sincerely for boosting our ministries!

A review was conducted of more than 20,000 assisted living communities across the country. In the state of Hawaii, we examined 22 facilities to uncover information such as average costs, Medicaid assistance, and more. While long-term care costs in the state vary significantly among its islands, Hawaii has a median monthly assisted living cost of $5,500 — a full $1,500 more than the national average. Read more.

Bringing youth closer to Jesus!

What is YCLifeTeen?
WE BELIEVE WHEN A TEENAGER ENCOUNTERS CHRIST through the beauty of the Catholic faith, they will transform their parish, community, and culture. We’ve seen it happen time and time again. That’s why we’ve created our ministry here at St. Elizabeth Parish so teens will have the tools to address their needs today — not five years ago. Life Teen is a movement within the Roman Catholic Church leading teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. All high school teens are welcome to our sessions Sunday evenings starting with Mass at 5pm followed by our program. Click

What is Edge?
EDGE IS A CATHOLIC MINISTRY FOR GRADES 6, 7 AND 8. It provides a safe fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. EDGE resources speak to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth. EDGE resources make it easier for youth ministers to plan their semesters for EDGE Nights (their weekly meetings), retreats, and to train a team of adults, the Core Team, to assist them in the ministry. We present Catholic teaching in a way that young people can understand. Our EDGE sessions meet Tuesdays at church 6:30pm to 8pm.
For more information, send
EMAIL to Youth Minister Bernie Manoa.
