    PRAYER FOR LIFE
"O Mary, bringt dawn of the new world, Mother of the Living, to you do we entrust the cause of life: Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time. Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude thoughtout their lives and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build, together with all people of good will, the civilization of truth and love, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and love of life. Amen." – Pope John Paul II

    Stewardship Service
    25th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.”
    Mark 9:35

Jesus teaches His Stewards that they are called to love one another. Love involves sacrifice. Sacrifice is a word that many of us don’t like to hear. We think it means that we must give up something we want. However, the literal meaning of sacrifice is “to make holy,” from the Latin words “sacer” = sacred and “facere” = to make.  In other words, we make our life holy by sharing our gifts in the service of God.

OUR PARISH KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS St. Damien de Veuster Council #6906 offer you a place to recycle your cans and plastics. Look for the two blue bins next to the gift shop. Funds raised will be used for the Knights' good work, such as: student scholarships and service work in our parish, the local community and around the Diocese. Mahalo for your support.

WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL to all our parishioners and friends who make donations to our parish to support our ministries, building fund and parish school tuition assistance program. We offer an online giving option. It's EASY, FAST and SECURE. Click HERE.

SAINT ELIZABETH CATHOLIC SCHOOL is a most important ministry of our parish where children find excellence in education and where they can grow in the Faith to become responsible leaders of our community. Visit our website to see how you can support this awesome ministry. Mahalo.
