Ushers
Purpose: To serve the Lord and the parish family of the faith community in celebrating the Mass through the exercise of hospitality and security inside and outside the church during Mass.
Duties: Ushers greet each parishioners, assist in seating members of the assembly, collecting the offerings, and inviting parishioners to bring the gifts of bread and wine to the altar. The ushers insure the orderly procession for communion, and they distribute the parish bulletin as parishioners exit from the church. Ushers perform other tasks as requested by the Pastor and/or Deacon.
Requirements: An interest to be a servant to the community. Ushers are needed at all weekend masses and other liturgical occasions.
