RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

If you are interested in exploring the Catholic Church as your faith community and want to know more about our beliefs, practices, and spiritual life, please feel free to contact the rectory.

What is RCIA?

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults/Children is for persons who are not Catholic (and have an interest in becoming Catholic), baptized Catholic (but not brought up in the Catholic faith), or anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Interested persons are instructed in Catholic doctrine and practice to enable them to discern better the call of God to the conversion of life. This includes preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. The usual length of preparation is from one to two years.
