Youth Ministries
Purpose: Youth ministry by introducies Jesus in a way that will help our youth develop an ongoing relationship with God. Youth Ministry also challenges youth to live their faith in accord with God’s call; to encourage and affirm them; and to meet their spiritual and emotional needs with love. It also identifies roles for youth to discover their gifts and to use those gifts for God.
Activities: The youth come together regularly as a community to foster spiritual and personal growth and to fellowship. Some of the activities and programs include: prayer meetings, Youth & Young Adult choir and Mass, prayer, fellowship activities, retreats, community service projects, youth liturgical group (ushers, lectors), etc.
Adults, want to volunteer for youth ministry? We need volunteers willing to share healthy, safe and nurturing friendships, having made a commitment to Christ in their life, knowing they will be role models for the youth. Patience and a desire to work with youth is essential. Safe Environment, background checks and training are mandatory for active adult volunteers.
