Bereavement Ministry
Purpose: Assist parish families in planning and coordinating the funeral Mass and services.
Duties: Volunteers assist families who have lost a loved one in planning coordinating the funeral Mass and services. Volunteers are needed for the services which may occur during the day, evening or on weekends, so flexibility is needed. Bereavement needs planners, lectors, musicians and altar servers. Training and support material is provided.
Requirements: To be available to assist either morning, afternoon or weekend services as needed. Minimal training is required for planners. Support material is available.
