This is an ongoing 24-hour recitation of the Holy Rosary. All parish prayer groups are invited to pray during this time. For local information, contact Easter Almuena, diocesan coordinator of this event, at (808) 585-3342 or email Easter at ealmuena@rcchawaii.org.

    This week's featured CD:

Take a look at our CD and book display on the Welcome Table in our church. You will find an assortment of CDs, pamphlets and books to help you grow in your understanding of our Catholic faith. When you are finished with them, pass them on to others who will also benefit from them. Here's a description of our featured CD on Stewardship: "What does it mean to be a faithful steward? How is stewardship linked with the Eucharist. Learn how to develop an attitude of gratitude ... and learn to recognize God's gifts."

St. Elizabeth Catholic Parish has set up the ability to make your offertory gift and donations electronically. Donors are able to quickly and easily manage their donations to weekly collections or one-time gifts. When you have an account set up, you can set up your own donation schedule, view completed and scheduled transactions, and make changes and updates on a 24-hour per day basis. You can make contributions from your checking account, savings account or credit card. See the March 19 BULLETIN to see a list of advantages to giving online. You can also access the online giving link from the myParish app by using the "Giving" icon.

Someone you know graduating from high school and going off to college soon? We want to help them stay connected with their Catholic faith. Please send their name, email address and the name of the college to Lisa Gomes (oyyam@rcchawaii.org). Lisa, Coordinator of Youth Ministry for the Honolulu Diocese, will contact their Catholic campus ministry so the campus ministers can contact the incoming students and invite them to their ministries. Our high school seniors are key to the future of our Church. Let's work to keep them connected to their faith as they make their tansition to college.

    Stewardship

    Christain Stewards:
    People of the Resurrection
For those immersed in the secular world, Easter is long over. The pastel bunnies, the chocolate eggs, the color-splashed jelly beans which appeared in the marketplace so temptingly just as Christians were beginning the fasting of Lent, have long been swept from the store shelves to be replaced in anticipation of the next marketable holiday. For the Christian steward, how backward this all seems. Yes, we believe that the Paschal mystery and the life-changing events of Easter are not over. They are not an end but a triumphal beginning, and they have altered us in a quite radical way.
