Feast Day: St. Damien de Veuster
    Prayer to St. Damien:
Damien, brother on the journey, happy and generous missionary, who loved the Gospel more than your own life, who for love of Jesus left your family, your homeland, your security and your dreams. Teach us to give our lives with joy like yours, to be in solidarity with the outcasts of our world, to celebrate and contemplate the Eucharist as the source of our own commitment. Help us to love to the very end and, in the strength of the Spirit, to persevere in compassion for the poor and forgotten so that we might be good disciples of Jesus and Mary.

With three more months to go on the 2017-2018 Bishop’s Circle appeal, the annual diocesan large-donor campaign is two-thirds of the way to its $350,000 goal. As of March 22, it has collected $230,000, 10 percent more than the appeal received at this time last year, said Mark Clark, director of the diocesan Stewardship and Development office, which runs the campaign. Contribute today by using the special envelopes on the Welcome Table of our church or by clicking HERE. Contact: Mark Clark at 203-6723. Mahalo!

See the video explaining why the Church in Hawaii is transitioning to the "Original Order" of the Sacraments:

Are you not able to be married in the Catholic Church because of a prior marriage? Pope Francis recently streamlined the process for annulments, making the process much shorter. He also elminated the fees. For more information about the annulment process and your eventual marriage in the Church, contact Father Arnold at 487-2414 x31 or send email to

    Receive Communion with Reverence!

The Most Holy Eucharist is the "source and summit of our faith." The Eucharist is Jesus Himself. Recall again with this video how important it is to receive Holy Communion with the greatest care and devotion.
