          May God, out of his glorious riches, strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith.
         May you, being rooted and established in love, have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and may you know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 
         May God, who is utterly able, do immeasurably more for you and in you than all you can ever ask or imagine. Amen.

         The Feast of Corpus Christi is an ancient and sacred jubilant celebration of the Blessed Sacrament. It is an opportunity for all believers to focus on the Body of Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist and the Body of Christ, the Church. We faithful gather to express our love and devotion to Jesus Chirst, not only for ourselves but, on this day, we proclaim it to the entire world.
         Before all our weekend Masses June 22 and 23, we will pray in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Please enter church quietly and reverently, make a careful genuflection before entering the pew, and worship the Lord of the Eucharist.

    With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Diocese of Honolulu announces the ordination of Reverend Mr. Dario Rinaldi to the Order of Deacon at St. Joseph Church, Makawao, Maui. We look forward to his ordination to the priesthood in 2020. We at St. Elizabeth Parish send our prayers and blessings.

    Pope Francis calls each of us to witness to charity and to show God's mercy to one another. He encourages us to "open our eyes and see the misery of the world, the wounds of our brothers and sisters who are denied their dignity, and let us recognize that we are compelled to heed their cry for help!". This Peter's Pence Second Collection unites us in solidarity to the Holy See and its works of charity to those in need. Your generosity allows the Pope to respond to our suffering brothers and sisters.

    Evening of Ongoing Formation
         All parishioners who serve in Liturgical Ministries are called to an evening of prayer, education and updating - music ministry, lectors, communion ministers, ushers, sacristans - 6pm light refreshements, 6:30pm presentation, 8pm Benediction and closing. All parishioners are also invited to come learn more about liturgy and how it enriches our spiritual life. 
        This event is presented by recent graduate Anthony Selvanathan, MA, MBA and parishioner at the Cathedral Basilica, Honolulu.

    In 1633 the Oberammergau villagers in Belgium promised to perform the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ every tenth year, in so far as no one was to die of the plague anymore. The villagers were answered by God and therefore in 1634 the first Passion Play took place. The promise has been kept until today.
