Ministry leaders and parishioners ... you are invited to come discuss and identify goals and objectives for Adult Faith Formation in our parish. February 23-24

The Knights of Columbus call upon us to remember and pray for Christians all around the world who are being persecuted for their faith, some to the point of torture and death. In many regions of the Middle East, like Syria and Iraq – even in the Holy Land itself where the Christian faith was born – there are fewer and fewer Christians. Churches are destroyed, priests and religious are exiled, and families barely escape with their lives. On this weekend at each Mass, we will pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters, we pray for their safety and wellbeing as we ask the Lord to keep them strong in our holy Faith. [Photo above is a depiction of Our Lady, Help of Persecuted Christians.]

    Saturday, February 23
You are invited to pray a rosary with us for persecuted Christians around the world: in our church at 4:00pm.

    February 23-24
Take a moment to sign up after weekend Mass for the next blood drive Sunday, March 10. Remember - giving blood saves lives. This event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

    Sunday, February 24
It's "Aloha Sunday" after the 8am and 10am Masses. Join us downstairs in the parish hall for light breakfast, refreshments and fellowship.

Our parish has only one chalice used at Mass each day. Because it is used so often, it is showing lots of wear and we would like to order a brand new chalice to be used primarily on some weekends and for special Masses during the year, like Christmas, Confirmation Mass, etc. In the photo above you will see the chalice we would like to purchase: the cost is $821. A parishioner may purchase this chalice in memory of a loved one. Interested? Call the parish office at 487-2414 x21. Mahalo.
