Our Hawaii legislature has already heard a bill to reduce suicides in Hawaii by 25% by establishing September as Suicide Prevention Month. We are supporting this effort, but want to discourage the legislature from promoting assisted suicide (HB1703 introduced by Mizuno, Brower, Cachola, Evans, Ichiyama, Kong, C. Lee, Morikawa, Qunlan, San Buenaventura, Say, Souki, Takayama, Thielen, Creagan, and Learmont).

In March 2017, our parishes successfully helped to defeat assisted suicide through petitions of 13,000 signatures. This time, we need to substantially increase this figure!

Download the flyer to see assisted suicide bills introduced this session (taken from Hawaii Family Forum’s February 2, 2018 Legislative Week in Review).

    • Click HERE to sign an online petition or sign the petition at Mass February 17-18.

Thank you for supporting life from beginning to a natural end!

    February weekends
The Knights of Columbus present their annual Baby Bottle campaign, raising funds to support local respect life ministries and programs. Take a baby bottle home, when it's filled with change, bring it with you to weekend Mass. Feel free to grab a new bottle each week if you like and if one’s available. Last year’s drive provided St. Elizabeth’s Pro-Life Memorial (located just outside the parish school office) and $4,000 was donated to the Problem Pregnancy Center in Aiea (managed by a St. Elizabeth Parishioner). We are a RESPECT LIFE PARISH. Thank you for your support.

Are you not able to be married in the Catholic Church because of a prior marriage? Pope Francis recently streamlined the process for annulments, making the process much shorter. He also elminated the fees. For more information about the annulment process and your eventual marriage in the Church, contact Father Arnold at 487-2414 x31 or send email to

Download the flyer "When a Marriage is Declared Invalid".

    Receive Communion with Reverence!
The Most Holy Eucharist is the "source and summit of our faith." The Eucharist is Jesus Himself. Recall again with this video how important it is to receive Holy Communion with the greatest care and devotion.
